From Preston and the M6/61 and M65 take the A59 via the Penwortham bypass towards Southport. At the 1st roundabout (the Hutton police HQ) fork right - signposted Longton in 1.5 miles.
Pass through the village and fork right immediately before the Golden Ball Public House onto Marsh Lane.

After 0.8 miles carry on past Grange Lane which is a turning to the right (ignore it, just here as a landmark) and after a further 0.6 miles fork Right into Marsh Lane,
heading towards the Dolphin Inn, the site is straight after the Dolphin Inn on the left at end of the narrow Lane.

Alternative Route From Southport on the A59.  Turn left at the Fox Cub Public House (Walmer Bridge) roundabout signposted Longton.
In 1 mile turn left onto Marsh Lane immediately after the Golden Ball Public House and follow the remaining instructions above.
